At Adjustable Desk Australia Desks, we know the products we sell are of such a high standard and quality, we provide our customers with a 5 year warranty on our electric sit-stand desk range and most accessories unless otherwise stated. This warranty is subject to the below terms, but we are so confident in what we do, that we want you to have the peace of mind to know an Adjustable Desk Australia Desks product will last the distance. With our 5 year warranty, you have the same level of confidence that we do in our products and service.

The benefits of our 5 year warranty on this page are in addition to other rights and remedies available to you as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law.

Adjustable Desk Australia Desks warrants products, subject to the below conditions, for 5 years from the date of purchase or delivery, whichever is the latter.

Please note: Your desk may need to be reset upon initial setup. Please refer to your included instruction manual to complete a manual reset before contacting us. These instructions can also be found in the ‘Specs and Assembly’ tab on each product.

 

What happens when I make a claim?

When you make a warranty claim, Adjustable Desk Australia Desks will examine the product and decide if it’s covered under this warranty. We will then, at our discretion, either repair the defective product or replace it with the same or a comparable product. In circumstances where we return an item, you will be responsible for its installation. In these cases, Adjustable Desk Australia Desks will be responsible for the cost of repairs, spare parts, labour and travel for repair staff that Adjustable Desk Australia Desks incurs, provided that the product is accessible for repair without Adjustable Desk Australia Desks incurring any additional expenditure to gain access. This, however, will not apply in cases where repair work has not been authorised by Adjustable Desk Australia Desks. Any defective parts removed in the course of repair works will become the property of Adjustable Desk Australia Desks. If Adjustable Desk Australia Desks no longer sells the item, we will provide an appropriate replacement. Adjustable Desk Australia Desks will decide, at our discretion, what constitutes a suitable replacement.

Your general legal rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits under our guarantees are in addition to other rights and remedies under law concerning goods.

 

What is and isn’t covered by your warranty

DESK LEGS, LIFTING MOTORS, HAND CONTROLLERS AND STRUCTURAL SUPPORT PARTS

The Adjustable Desks Australia 5 year warranty, covers defects in materials, quality and function on all desk legs, lifting motors and structural support parts. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts and scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents. Further, the warranty does not apply when any part has had its weight limit exceeded, when lifting motors have been operated for more than 2 minutes in any 20 minute period, where a product has been connected to the wrong voltage or a faulty power supply, if any part has been placed outdoors, in prolonged direct sunlight or humid environment, or if any part has been improperly used, handled, assembled, installed or constructed.

DESKTOPS

The Adjustable Desk Australia Desks 5 year warranty covers defects in materials, quality and function on all principal parts of the sit-stand desk and desktops. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents. If the desktops have been placed outdoors, in prolonged direct sunlight or a humid environment, or if the desktops have been improperly used, handled, assembled, installed or constructed.

MONITOR ARMS

The Adjustable Desk, Australia Desks 5 year warranty, covers defects in materials, quality and function on all monitor arms. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts and scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents. Further, the warranty does not apply when any part has had its weight limit exceeded, if any part has been placed outdoors, in prolonged direct sunlight or a humid environment, or if any part has been improperly used, handled, assembled, installed or constructed.

ACCESSORIES

The Adjustable Desk, Australia Desks 5 year warranty, covers defects in materials, quality and function on all accessories unless otherwise stated. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts and scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents. Further, the warranty does not apply when any part has had its weight limit exceeded. If any part is placed outdoors, in prolonged direct sunlight or in a humid environment, where a product has been connected to the wrong voltage or a faulty power supply, or if any part has been improperly used, handled, assembled, installed or constructed.

ERGONOMIC CHAIRS AND STOOLS

The Adjustable Desk Australia Desk 5 year warranty covers defects in material and quality on the structural frame and moving parts of the chair or stool. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts and scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents. Further, the warranty does not apply when any part has had its weight limit exceeded*, if any part has been placed outdoors, in prolonged direct sunlight or humid environment, or if any part has been improperly used, handled, assembled, installed or constructed.
*Please refer to the manual or guidebook provided with each product to determine its weight limit.

DOWNTIME

Adjustable Desk Australia Desks will not be liable, under this 5 year warranty, for any cost, expense or damage incurred by an owner while a product covered by this warranty is out of service during the performance of any warranty adjustment work. You may have additional rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
